everyone is looking forward to getting outside
and enjoying some outdoor activities. The post
has been very busy with all the activities going
on, I would like to say thank you to Julia
Stotelmyer and the kitchen staff for providing the

1st Quarter Newsletter, 2026
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and
a Happy New Year. It is hard to believe that
2025 is over and we are rolling into 2026,
where does the time go. We made a lot of
changes in 2025, new access ramps for easy
entrance into the building, new bingo
machine and flash boards, upgraded kitchen
equipment, and hired a new kitchen
manager, Julia Hyatt. If you have not seen
the new bingo equipment, stop by on a
Friday night and see what it is all about.
The new start time for bingo is 6:30 p.m.
Also, if you have not met Julia, please stop
by and introduce yourself and try one of her
delicious dishes

First, I would like to thank Ron Moats for his dedication to the Post and accepting the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Your leadership and experience is greatly appreciated.
Congratulations goes out to Dave Leever, Post and District Historian, who received the Department of Maryland award for outstanding Department Pictorial Yearbook for the Post and for District 7. Great job, Dave!
3rd Quarter Newsletter, 2025
We are half way through the year and the hot
days of summer are already here, the first
official day of summer was June 21st and the
temperature was in the 90’s. It is going to be
another hot summer. Things are in full swing
at the Post with a number of events like the
Wednesday night corn hole tournament,
Thursday weekly membership drawing, Friday
bingo, and Legion baseball. I would like to
thank Chad Coulter and the other coaches for
the job they are doing, best of luck for a
successful season.
